The Way We Think Determines Our Success
Last week, we asked what was the #1 thing Ummahpreneurs would like to learn from this group.
Thankfully, we got many amazing answers such as “Marketing”, “Branding”, “E-commerce”, “Islamic Finance”, “Coaching”, “Business Tips”, “Strategy”, and so on.
This allows us to know exactly what content to create in here to make sure that we keep bringing as much value as possible to you in this group,
However, I was a little surprised when the topic of MINDSET didn’t come up.
What’s the reason I’m sharing this?
Because the way we THINK has a huge impact on our ability to LEARN.
Can you recall a moment in school where no matter how hard you tried, you couldn’t seem to absorb what the teacher was trying to explain?
Or a time in the workplace where you sat in a meeting and felt like your thoughts and ideas weren’t good enough to be shared?
Or maybe you enrolled in an online course and felt overwhelmed by all the information and details so you put it aside to never login again?
There’s a reason for this, and it’s probably not what you think.
While it’s important to narrow down WHAT we want to learn, it’s also important to teach ourselves HOW to learn.
And that comes with adopting the right mindset.
Everything we share in this community won’t truly be of benefit until we condition our mind to properly receive, process, and act upon the information.
And that’s what we hope to achieve first.
Because mindset plays a critical role in how we deal with life’s challenges.
There will always be times where we let doubt creep in.
“I’m too busy to work on my business right now.”
“I tried already and it didn’t work out.”
“I don’t have what it takes to reach my goals.”
If we let these doubts control our lives, they can be hugely damaging.
These narratives in our head will continuously haunt us…ONLY if we let them.
So before we jump into strategy, we need to focus on rewiring our brains first.
Because the brain is like a muscle, and it can be trained.
Doing this takes persistence, practice, and time.
But it CAN be done insha’Allah.
It’s not creativity or intelligence that separates successful Muslim entrepreneurs from those who fail to realize their ambitions…
It’s their mindset and the decisions they make thanks to this mindset.
Because if your mindset isn’t in the right place, well, YOU probably won’t be either.
