The Ultimate Night Routine For Muslim Entrepreneurs

The ultimate night routine for muslim entrepreneurs

Having a proper night routine to help you prepare for the following day is one of the most overlooked productivity hacks in entrepreneurship.

That’s why we decided to share with you these 6 tips to help create a powerful night routine that will have you ready to tackle the day with maximum energy and focus in your business!

1. Plan Your Day The Night Before

Scheduling your priorities the night before can increase your productivity significantly. This saves you from having to wonder what you should be working on and instead focus on getting things done.

Being aware of what you will be working on the night before also allows you to wake up with peace of mind knowing already how your day is planned to go.

2. Journal

Some people prefer to do their journaling by day and some prefer doing it at night. Regardless of the time, it is highly recommended that you take some time to note down any thoughts, ideas, or reflections you had to help process and retain information.

Journaling can be beneficial for keeping you grounded and on track. It also helps you assess your strengths and weaknesses and understand yourself better.

3. Sleep Hygiene Rituals

‘Sleep Hygiene’ includes a wide range of activities that promote better sleep such as laying off caffeine at nighttime.

Literal hygiene routines like washing your face, and brushing your teeth can help prepare you for bed.

Having proper Sleep Hygiene can significantly improve the quality of the sleep we are getting.

The better quality of sleep we get, the more energetic we will be the day after!

4. Prepare Your Outfit For The Next Day

Preparing your clothes for the next day is one of the simplest ways to feel productive at night. This will save you time in the morning and eliminate the stress element from trying to figure out what to wear.

It also helps reduce the number of decisions you have to make in your day, saving your energy for high-level decision-making in your business!

5. Read between 20-60 minutes

Spending time on social media or watching a Netflix series has become a core part of many people’s nightly routine, however screens prevent us from sleeping well at night.

The blue light emitted by screens limits the production of melatonin, the hormone that controls your sleep-wake cycle (aka circadian rhythm).

Instead, picking up a book can help you learn new concepts and ideas to leverage in your business, and help you relax and get ready for bed.

6. Remember Allah SWT

The ultimate night routine for Muslim entrepreneurs wouldn’t be complete without taking some time reconnect with Allah SWT and renew our intentions for the following day.

Before bed, it is recommend to reflect upon all of the blessings that Allah has bestowed upon you and practice gratitude by saying Alhamdulillah and saying the sleep Dua:

Bismika Rabbee wadha’tu janbee, wa bika ‘arfa’uhu, fa’in ‘amsakta nafsee farhamhaa, wa ‘in ‘arsaltahaa fahfadhhaa, bimaa tahfadhu bihi ‘ibaadakas-saaliheen.
In Your name my Lord, I lie down and in Your name I rise, so if You should take my soul then have mercy upon it, and if You should return my soul then protect it in the manner You do so with Your righteous servants.

This sums up our ultimate night routine for Muslim entrepreneurs. Following this routine will nurture your mind, body, and spirit to help you prepare for a productive and impactful day!
