5 Ways To Get Clients For Your Halal Online Business

Getting clients is always a primary focus if you’re a coach, consultant, service provider, or freelancer. After all, the more clients you have, the higher and bigger your income. In this article, you will learn five ways that you can use to get more clients for your halal online business. Let’s get started.

1. Social Media

The first strategy is social media. We use social media as a means for entertainment, but it can also be used as a potent tool for helping you grow your business. The strategy that will help you scale your business is through sharing entertaining and educational content that gives value to your customers and helps position you as an authority in your industry.

This means you need to talk about topics that you’re an expert on or share ideas, values, and tips for free so that customers can see that you know you’re someone who’s an expert and knows who their clients are. They can reach out to you for more information or even work with you.

3 tips for building your presence in social media:

  1. Know & Engage With Your Target Audience
  2. Focus On Eye-catching Visuals
  3. Optimize Your Social Media Profile

“We don’t have a choice on whether we do social media. The question is how well we do it.” – Erik Qualman

2. Word Of Mouth

The second way of getting clients for your businesses is word of mouth. Many people focus on online strategies, but the truth is those old-school business strategies work just as well today, as they did 10, 20, and 30 years ago.

Word of mouth means going to local networking events and spreading the word about your business. It means setting up a local event yourself, focusing on a specific aspect of your business.

Let’s say you’re a business that offers marketing services. You can provide a free marketing class in your local area, and through this, many people can learn about your services.

Word of mouth will help you get the word out and meet people face to face. It’s important that you don’t forget to leverage your direct network, especially your friends and families. Tell them about your business, the services you provide, and ask them if they know anyone that could benefit from what you have to offer.

“The secret to marketing success is no secret at all: Word of mouth is all that matters” – Seth Godin

3. Affiliate Program

The third strategy is setting up an affiliate program. Many people think that to create an affiliate program, you need to be an expert in software or have a big company. But the truth is the best people to promote your offers and services are your happy customers.

“Affiliate marketing is an excellent opportunity if you truly believe in the value of the product you’re selling. Because many times, you can make money off of something you would probably recommend anyway.” – Neil Patel, Founder of Neil Patel Digital

When you work with a client who is content and satisfied with what your product or service, this is an opportunity to have them spread the word about your services to others. You can tell your happy clients that you will give them a percentage of each sale they refer to you as a sign of gratitude.

There are many affordable software solutions to help keep track of affiliate commissions that you can leverage for your business, so you can ensure that all referrals are properly tracked.

Position it so that it is a sign of appreciation, not as an incentive. A small reward for helping you spread the word about your business.

4. Referral Partnerships

The fourth way of getting clients for your businesses is referral partnerships. Referral partnerships are a great way to grow your business organically. But first, what are referral partnerships are exactly?

Referral partnerships are when you seek out someone within your industry or your niche, that offers a different service to the same clients, and you partner together to refer each other’s businesses.

For example, if you work with Muslim entrepreneurs, and you provide business coaching services, and there’s a graphic designer that also focuses on working with Muslim entrepreneurs, you can complement each other’s services.

An example of applying this strategy is whenever your clients need a graphic designer, you will refer them to the other business, and they can refer their graphic design clients to you when they require business coaching. This creates a beautiful loop of referrals that go back and forth between both of your businesses, and open doors of opportunity for both of you.

So, as long as you’re within an industry, think to yourself, how can I find other professionals or businesses that serve the same target audience but offer something different so that we’re not competing but complementing each other and giving more value to our clients.

5. Paid Advertising

The fifth and final strategy is paid advertising. This is something that we recommend you do once your business is making 3 to 5 thousand dollars a month because running paid ads can get very expensive, especially in the initial stages. When you’re testing and trying to figure out what works for your business in your industry, you’re going to have a hard time being profitable.

You only want to do this if you’re already making money in your business, and you can take some of that money and reinvest it towards paid advertising.

If you’re a coach, a service provider, or a freelancer, the best methods of advertising are running an ad that leads to a specific freebie, or an offer to book a call with you or to purchase your product.

In our experience, the two best platforms that we use for our paid ads are Facebook and Youtube, so we recommend looking into both and seeing which one works best for your business.

Implement Two To Three Strategies

These were five ways to attract clients to your halal online business and make your business more profitable. Starting might be difficult for many of you but remember, with your consistent effort and the right guidance from a mentor, you can achieve this in a matter of a few months.

We recommend implementing at least two to three of these five strategies in your business and seeing how your business grows exponentially. Try to experiment with them and see what works for your business and what doesn’t. These strategies will help you grow your income in more profitable ways and attract more clients.
